Moving On

Just about six months ago, I stepped away from Raised Eyebrow on maternity leave. And while I've spent a lot of the past few months doing the prosaic sort of stuff one expects to be doing when caring for a newborn baby, I've also spent some time pondering my next steps, career-wise. And I've decided that it's time for me to move on from my position as Partner here.

I'm not sure what my next move is going to be; after twelve years of co-leading Raised Eyebrow, I feel I need to step out of this role completely before I move into the next one. But there are a number of possibilities churning around in my brain, and my immediate plan is to spend a few months trying on different hats & brushing up on some new skills.

Raised Eyebrow is in the most capable hands I can imagine: those of my amazing co-founder Emira, and our incredible staff. Coming to work every day with that brilliant, creative, hardworking, caring, and frequently hilarious crew is the thing I'll miss the most.

As for our clients - well, it has been a genuine pleasure and honour to work with literally hundreds of world-changing organizations over the twelve years I've been in this role. I've learned so much from each project, and I can't express enough how grateful I am for the opportunities I've had to do work that has rewarded me on every level.

It's tempting, when saying goodbye, to get nostalgic for things past. In this case, though, I'm simply excited for the future - both mine and Raised Eyebrow's. I look forward to starting something new for myself, and I also look forward to watching Raised Eyebrow continue to innovate, grow and flourish.

Thanks, all, for everything. Can't wait to see what you do next.
