What can you embed with Oembed?

Oembed is a handy tool that we often recommend to clients. It allows you to simply and efficiently enter multimedia material, like photos and videos, on to your Drupal and WordPress site.
Not every piece of content can be embedded using Oembed. Here are the ones that work:
Wordpress
(from the Wordpress Codex)
- blip.tv
- DailyMotion
- Flickr (both videos and images)
- FunnyOrDie.com (WordPress 3.0+)
- Hulu
- Instagram (WordPress 3.5+)
- Qik
- Photobucket
- PollDaddy
- Revision3
- Scribd
- SlideShare (WordPress 3.5+)
- SoundCloud (WordPress 3.5+)
- SmugMug (WordPress 3.0+)
- Twitter (WordPress 3.4+)
- Viddler
- Vimeo (note older versions of WP have issues with https embeds, just remove the s from the https to fix)
- YouTube (only public and "unlisted" videos and playlists - "private" videos will not embed)
- WordPress.tv (only VideoPress-type videos for the time being)
Drupal
(from the Simple Oembed project page)
Qik
- YouTube
- blip.tv
- Vimeo
- DailyMotion
- Flickr
- Revision3
- SmugMug
- Hulu
- Viddler
- Photobucket
- Scribd
- WordPress.tv
- PollDaddy
- FunnyOrDie.com
- SlideShare
Multimedia can make your site dynamic and engaging. Oembed helps you put this content in easily.
