E-Commerce

Raised Eyebrow has worked with clients to build highly successful large scale e-commerce sites; we have also added e-commerce components as a part of a broader website design and development process. Our clean, accessible approach to web site design is an excellent fit for the challenges of developing an interface that works well for online sales.

In addition to our work on large online stores — for an example, please see the Lunapads case study in our portfolio — Raised Eyebrow is pleased to offer both consulting services and implementation for secure e-commerce components on our clients’ websites. Our experience with the latter ranges from online donation tools for non-profits like the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, to season subscription packages for arts organizations such as the Vancouver Recital Society and Chor Leoni Men’s Choir.

Our e-commerce experience enables us to help our clients evaluate the return they can expect before they make the investment in e-commerce. In some cases, partnering with third-party providers that offer donation processing, conference registration, or basic membership renewal and management services is a more cost-effective solution for our clients; our consulting process helps guide our clients through making these decisions.

When we work on an e-commerce project, we’ll help you with the administrative side of getting accepting credit cards online — everything from understanding what kind of security certificate you need, to the difference between an online merchant account and a payment gateway — to thinking about how you will market your site to potential buyers once the site is open for business. (Speaking of marketing, you may want to also ask us about our online marketing services as well.)

If you are considering adding an e-commerce component to your web site or including it as a part of a larger web project, please contact us to arrange a consultation process.
